Come and join us on Sunday 1st May in the Glan Bar for the official launch night of our ‘Croker to the Black’ Philip Cathal Memorial Walk event. There will be traditional music by local artists on the night.
The walk will start at Croke Park on Thursday 2nd June and finish up in Blacklion on Sunday 5th June- passing through Glan and Dowra on the final day.
25 years ago Philip ‘Cathal’ orgainsed the same walk from Dublin to Blacklion and to honour his memory we are retracing his steps. We would be delighted if anyone involved in the original walk would get on board for this one as well.
We have a core group of walkers completing the entire journey with others joining us along the way.
To ensure this event runs as smoothly as possible we need as many volunteers as possible to help us along the way- and this is where you can help us!
