Club Membership & Registration: Membership is now due for 2014 and it’s not just for players but for anybody who wants to be a member of the GAA. All players(both adult and underage) need to register to be covered by insurance. The fees are Adults €30, Under 18’s €15 and Family €75. Ulster Under 21 Championship Cavan v Tyrone on Wednesday 19th March 2014 in KingspanBrefniPark @ 8pm. 

 

Under 14 Boys Training starts on Tuesday 18th March 2014 at 7pm in Glangevlin. Can all parents please attend at the end of training for a 10 minute meeting to discuss training days and times.

 

Best of luck to Roisin Flanagan, Saoirse Maguire and Gemma McLoughlin and the Cavan Under 16 Girls team in the Ulster Championship which starts this weekend with  Cavan v Derry at 2pm at the 3G Pitch, Kingspan Breffni Park on Saturday 15/03/14. The next match away to Down at 2pm on Saturday 29/03/14.

 

Under 16 Girls League: Next Game Shannon Gaels v Killeshandra on Sunday 23rd March 2014 in Blacklion. Recent Results: Shannon Gaels 2-9 Killenkere 4-7 on 01/03/14 and Cornafean 2-6 Shannon Gaels 4-7 on 08/03/14.  Training continues on Monday’s and Wednesdays at 7pm.

 

Next Committee meeting on Tuesday 18/03/14 at 9.30pm in the Club House.

Under 12 Girls training commencing on Tuesday 11th March at 6.30pm in Blacklion.  Players born in 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 should attend.

Congratulations to Aogán Ó Fearghail who has been elected as Uachtaráin-Tofa Chumann Lúthchleas Gael and will become President of the GAA in 2015, the first Cavan man to be elected to this post.
