All Ireland Under 21 Championship 2013: Well done to Jason McLoughlin and Nevin O’Donnell and the Cavan Under 21 team and their Management team including Kieran Fitzpatrick and Pauric Dolan who have become Ulster Champions for the third year in a row. Cavan will play Cork in the All Ireland Semi Final in Tullamore on Saturday 20th April 2013 at 3.45pm

Lotto: No Jackpot Winner on on 6th April 2013 in the Dug Out Blacklion. Next draw in Frank Eddies, Blacklion on Saturday 20th April 2013. Jackpot โ‚ฌ2,800.

Annual Lotto tickets are now on sale costing โ‚ฌ100 for 2 entries to each draw or โ‚ฌ50 for 1 entry into each draw for 12 months.

Compulsory wearing of mouthguards for football matches and training sessions in underage grades came into force on 01/01/13. Mouthguards cost from โ‚ฌ8 to โ‚ฌ33 and are available for purchasing through retailers such as SuperValu, Centra, Lifestyle Sports, Heatons and Elverys Sports. More details here

Kelloggโ€™s Cรบl Camp 2013 in Blacklion from 22nd – 26th July 2013. The cost for 2013 is โ‚ฌ55 per child (โ‚ฌ45 for second child and โ‚ฌ40 for third and fourth children). You can now register and get further information via www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie & the club website.

Gaeltacht Scholarships
Ulster ladies gaelic football offer scholarships to Gaeltacht during the summer months applications for these gaeltacht scholarships must be made in writing to the Ulster Culture and Language Officer Ann McKenna at annmckenna09@hotmail.com. The closing date for applications is April 30th

Cavan County Board GAA Gaeltacht Scholarships. Interviews for the annual GAA Gaeltacht Scholarships from Cavan Co. Board to Donegal will take at the following venues: Monday April 15th 7pm in St. Clare’s N.S.Cavan. All students between the ages of twelve and eighteen years are eligible to avail of these scholarships.
