Cavan ACFL League Division 2: Shannon Gales v Kill @ 7.30pm in Blacklion on Friday 27th April 2012 and Drung v Shannon Gaels @ 5.30pm in Drung on Saturday 5th May 2012.

Football Training for all Children of School going age will take place @ 10am on Saturdays in Blacklion starting on 28th April 2012.

GAA Gaeltacht Scholarships 2012: Interviews for the Gaeltacht scholarships will take place on Saturday May 5th in St. Clare’s N.S. Cavan, Ballyconnell N.S. and St. Anne’s N.S. Bailieboro from 9am to 11am. Interviews will also take place on Monday May 7th in St. Clares N.S. Cavan from 7pm-8pm. Any students aged between 12 and 18 who wish to apply for a scholarship should attend for interview.

Cúl Camps 2012: Kellogg’s have taken over sponsorship of the GAA Cúl Camps this year. Blacklion has been confirmed as a Cúl Camp venue for 2012. The Camp in Blacklion is from 13-17 August 2012. The cost of the camps have been reduced this year with an agreed price for all counties of €55 for 1st child, €45 for second child and €40 for each child thereafter. Kellogg’s have launched a countrywide promotion on packs of breakfast cereal with a €5 coupon for discount on your booking. Please note that only one coupon can be used per child. This discount can only be used when booking online   via the Cúl Camp website at http://www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie/ .  Application forms will be distributed through primary schools in the next few weeks but parents can use the online booking system and take advantage of the discount where possible.

Lotto: No Jackpot Winner on 21/04/12. Numbers Drawn: 6, 11, 21 and 27. €20 Winners: Clare McPartlin, Ronan McManus, Eddie Maguire and Brigid McHugh. Next Draw Saturday 5th May in the Bush Bar, Blacklion. Jackpot €1,550.

Annual Lotto tickets for 2012 are now on sale from any committee member. Ticket sellers will be out and about in the area over the next week or so. Your continued support for this important annual fundraising event is appreciated.

Fundraising: Volunteers are needed to assist with bag packing at Asda in Enniskillen on 26th May 2012. If you can assist, even for a short while on the day, please contact John Cassidy on 087-2285020

Scrap Metal Collection: Do you want to get rid of your unwanted scrap metal, farm machinery, batteries and electrical goods for free and help the Club raise much needed funds at the same time?  Please bring suitable items to the Car Park at Pháirc Gael na Sionanne, Blacklion between 9am and 5pm on Saturday 19th May 2012.
