Kellogg’s Cúl Camp 2013 in Blacklion from 22nd – 26th July 2013. The cost for 2013 is €55 per child (€45 for second child and €40 for third and fourth children). You can now register and get further information via www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie.

Under 12 Boys Spring League: Recent results – Kildallon 0-4 Shannon Gaels 7-10 on 26/04/13 and Drumalee 3-8 Shannon Gaels 6-15 on 14/4 and Shannon Gaels were also the winners over Killeshandra on 01/05/13.  The Spring League ends with a Blitz in Cavan on Monday 6th and the Summer League will get underway in July.

Under 12 and Under 14 Boys Training continues every Saturday at 10am in Blacklion.

Under 14 Girls League: Well done to the U14 Girls who won their opening legaue game on a scoreline of Gowna 0-3 Shannon Gaels 2-14 on 23/04/13. The next game is Shannon Gaels v Killeshandra @ 7.15pm on Thursday 9th May 2013 in Blacklion. Under 14 Girls Training: Monday and Wednesday @ 7pm.

Best to luck to Saoirse Maguire, Shannon McLoughlin, Rebecca McLoughlin, Aine McGovern and the rest of the Cavan Under 14 Girls team in the Ulster Championship. Cavan have already won games against Down and Armagh and also Donegal on 21/04/13. Compulsory wearing of mouthguards for football matches and training sessions in underage grades came into force on 01/01/13. Mouthguards cost from €8 to €33 and are available for purchasing through retailers such as SuperValu, Centra, Lifestyle Sports, Heatons and Elverys Sports. More details here
